REPORT

A couple of things conspired against us in terms of our usual race report this week.  Firstly Rocky "Snaps" Fortuna was overseas and secondly the skies opened up and dumped torrential rain down on us.  We managed to bell D & E grades two laps early and they had a decent race.  However with significant ponding about the circuit, A B & C grade racing was cancelled.

START TIMES

Don't forget Daylight savings finishes on Sunday 25 March.  The following Saturday 31 March, 2007 racing times will revert to:

Juniors start at 1pm. Seniors D, E, & F grades will start at 2pm and A, B & C grades will start at 3pm.

DURING DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: Randwick Botany Cycling Club conducts racing at Heffron Park, Maroubra NSW each Saturday throughout the year. Juniors start at 3pm. Seniors D, E, & F grades will start at 4pm and A, B & C grades will start at 5pm.

RACING SHEDULE

A handicap race for A B & C grades will be conducted on the first Saturday of every month.  Second,  fourth & fifth Saturdays will be normal scratch races.  On the Third Saturday of every month racing will be longer and conducted in reverse direction.  A grade 25 laps (50 kilometres), B grade 23 laps and C grade 20 laps.  D, E & F will be normal distance
