RBCC TAKES MIX 106.5's TODD McKENNEY FOR  A RIDE

(See Sonia & Todd blogg here)

As a result of a recent debate on the Mix 106.5 Sonia & Todd morning show, I reacted a little unfairly and harshly to Todd McKenney and in an email to Sonia and Todd, suggested that it appeared that Todd hated cyclists.  One thing led to another and pretty it was arranged via Todd's producer Bruno, that we take Todd for a ride around Centennial Park.  Thanks to our sponsor FRF Sports, a 2009 Argon 18 Gallium was organised for Todd (with flat pedals as he rode in a pair of boots).  We soon convinced Todd, perhaps to the absolute fear of the MIX 106.5 legal team, to ride from Centennial Park to the Mix Masterchef Cafe in East Sydney.

Todd was dressed for the occasion complete with long pants, boots and a short sleeve Mix 106.5 T shirt when we met him in the early hours of the morning in about 10 degree celcius temperature.

The bunch completes the final few metres west in Stanley Street East Sydney as we arrive at the Mix Masterchef Cafe (Verde Restaurant) at the corner of Stanley and Riley Streets.

Sonia Looks amused as Todd wobbles by.

Todd really liked the Argon 18 Gallium complete with SRAM red.  Couldn't stop raving about it over the entire trip.

The bunch dismounts having arrived at our destination.

Boys are keen to partake of some of those cappuccinos.

Everyone was trying to get photos of Sonia & Todd but Knuckles "The Love God" Crampton kept hogging the shot.

I take a shot with Todd and unbeknown to me Sonia is playing Antennas in the background

Finally the on air interview.

Our adoring fans gather around the front of the broadcast
