Report:
The Aust Masters Champs were held over the October long weekend at Mt Stromlo, ACT. The Stromlo park cycling facility is fantastic and caters well for all road, mountain bike & triathlon disciplines. However the weather was quite adverse all weekend with arm and leg warmers being required at the start of most of the races.

RBCC had only 8 members entered in the championships. These were Andy Concliffe, Chris White, Sue Henry, Sheryl Rotondo, Craig Hibbard, Julian Townsend, Matt Lucas & Mark Deeves.

Excellent Rides were had by all. Chris and Andy had good performaces in the ITT, Sheryl Rode a PB for the ITT and a 5th place in the Road Race. Julian unfortunately experienced a calf muscle strain in the ITT and had to pull out of the Road race. Craig & Mark finished strongly in their respective races. Sue Henry rode brilliantly all weekend and finished on the podium in all races!!! She collected a silver in the ITT & Criterium along with a Bronze in the Road Race. Matt Lucas also had a successful weekend winning gold in the Criterium and Bronze in the Road Race.
