REPORT

Above, Peter Ryalls (in RBCC kit with blue arm warmers) looks like a
real pro as he mixes it with the young blokes. A great
performance given Pete is just short of his 72nd birthday. Not
many would no of Peter's pedigree, perhaps thinking he was just
another "old bloke" in the field. Peter, however is a veteran
of the Tour de France. He competed in the 1961 Tour de France
in Tom Simpson's team. Tom Simpson memorable having died on
the Mon Ventoux and uttering those immortal dying words, "Put me
back on my bike. Peter comes over to Australia every Summer,
and is this year will be wearing his Randwick Botany strip as he
competes in the World Masters Games. Good luck Peter.

While we are talking celebrities, above Natan Page a lead player in
the Underbelly series, takes stretches the A grade field as he
powers up the Heffron start finish straight.

The A grade sprint and Robbie Cater too good as he blasts home ahead
of Matt Lucas and Jack Bennett.
