REPORT
Well with our top A grader all still "shot to pieces" from last
weeks grueling Sydney to Camden, the A open field was pretty
well bare and so all of A grade were started together this week.

In particularly windy conditions, It wasn't long (in fact only a
couple of laps) before I had more helpers than I knew what to do
with.
Young Richard Lang just kept attacking and stretching out the A
grade field.
 |
|
|
 |
A grade about to start and Sean O'Neil looked pretty
confident. In fact Sean had a brillaintt ride attacking
off the front and chasing down breaks coming home with a well
deserved 3rd place. |
| |
|
 |
Sean Bloch looks very fit at the moment. Sean is a
sensational sprinter and many would be unaware of Sean's
heritage. Sean represented South Africa in the Barcelona
Olympics and in his hey day was a fabulous Kilo rider on the
track. The experience and the great "Kick" still very
evident today |
| |
|
 |
Sean "puts the hammer down" just enough to blast off the
rest of the field and then shut off crusing in to take first
place. Jason Webb certainly had the right wheel and
followed him home for a fine second place. |
| |
|
 |
Jules Galli drives the B grade bunch down the start/finish
striaght. Jules, not long to cycling has benefited greatly
from his training rides with Rocky and I. Jules had a fine
ride and was awarded with third place. |

Dulwich Hill's Keiran Laddy drives the C grade bunch down
the start finish striaght. |

C sprint (photo courtesy of Steven Foster), and Tim Kerle
just edges out Jake Magee. I reckon it could be a little
different if Jake were on his
other bike. |
| |
|
 |
D grade on the start line and Matty Hynes looks extremely
confident. In the end though it was Mark Strathern who rode of
the front of D grade and just kept going. |
| |
|
 |
Talking about riding away. Leanne Emery did just that
in E grade and was never caught. |
| |
|
 |
E & F grades on the start line. |
| |
|
 |
F action and big John Siounis does a turn. Joe Gatt,
eventual winner looked extremely confident, so much so that he
raced in his yellow jersey. |
