The Affiliated

riders powering away after the second lap. Local rider

waiting for a surprise attack. |
Leading into the final
sprint, Lindsay led out to prompt a response from the other
riders. As they jumped, Lindsay put the foot down to maintain
the led out and win in a time of 21min 43sec and an average
speed of 33.5kph. Second place went to Eleanor Hume
(Australia) followed by Margaret Douglas (USA) and Elizabeth
Campbell (USA). Afterwards Campbell said it was a great race
and very challenging. “The local girls knew the course well”
she added.

and an average speed of 36kph. Second was Craig Kelment
