Information
Most Saturdays of the year excluding public holidays (check the website for times) RBCC dedicates one hour of our Heffron Park track hire to junior cyclists. Ages range from 6 to 15yrs and all levels are welcome. Under the watchful eye of the Club President and the close supervision of Leeann Emery and assisting parents,  the RBCC kids (and other clubs’ junior members) go through a relaxed and fun session focused on improving cycling skills, fitness and some racing. The session lasts about an hour and afterwards they can watch the senior groups fight it out racing the very same track they had just tested their own skills on. Come to the Club, introduce yourself and have a look.

To Participate
The child must be of an age, skill and confidence level to be able to ride without assistance and complete a lap of the Heffron Park criterion circuit on their own.
Once you have decided, or your child has decided for you you, will need to join the Club. Cycling NSW does require that the participant have a racing license. However this can be done on the day.

Equipment
Helmet - A good quality helmet that meets Australian Standards.
Shoes - Fully enclosed shoes (training shoes are fine)
Bicycle - You are encouraged to bring a bicycle that your child prefers to ride.   The club does have a small number of bicycles for the juniors to use on a short term basis to familarise themselves with a road bike, until such time as they get their own.
