Club Championship Rules & Regulations
1 The 2010 Championship will be run over a series of 10 events. (track round not contibuting to overall)
2 Each event will attract points to be awarded to those riders who finish the race.
3 The events will be conducted under Federation rules.
4 All riders must hold a 2010 racing license.
5 Rules:
(i) Points will be awarded to helpers and shown on the results sheet in red. Helpers will be awarded points equivalent to third place but not exceeding 6.
(ii) Points in green are persons who have been upgraded from a lower grade (carrying  points earned up- percentage at the discretion of the race committee)
(iii) Points in blue are persons who have been down-graded from a higher grade (carrying those points earned down)
(iv) To be awarded points in any race a rider has to finish. (Exceptions: If for safety reasons a rider is taken off the course or if a rider cannot continue due to a fall points will be awarded. If a rider in a timed event is unable to finish because of a puncture or mechanical mishap, and in the opinion of the Commissaire it was clearly his/her intention to finish and did not simply withdraw, the rider may be assigned the points equivalent to the last unoccupied place in that grade.)
(v) Helpers (once during the series) will be awarded 6 points for the event. Maximum 2 helpers per race unless extra(s) deemed needed by event organiser/Commissaire.
(vi) Race distances may be shortened by the organisers for any reason they deem appropriate. ( for example inclement weather or insufficient riders).  The decision of the committee and/or the delegated race committee is final and can be made irrespective of the race distance advertised in the program.
(vii) No rider, who is not racing,  is to assist or accompany or ride within 100 metres of any other rider not in their grade.  Such an incident my be deemed to be illegal assistance and may subject the racing member to disqualification or relegation.
(viii) Every grade in the competition must have a minimum of 5 competitors at every round to qualify for the overall club champion trophy.
(ix) If an average of 5 competitors have not competed at every round of the club championships in a grade, only one trophy will be awarded for the overall winner of that grade at the end of the year presentation.
